Terms and Conditions for My Couch Online Therapy
1. Agreement to Terms By accessing or using the My Couch Online Therapy website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this website or schedule services.
2. Professional Disclosure & Licensing My Couch Online Therapy is a private practice owned and operated by Grant Koenig, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Clinical psychotherapy services are only available to individuals physically located in the states where Grant Koenig is professionally licensed: Indiana and New Jersey. Use of this website does not establish a therapist-client relationship. Such a relationship is only formed after a formal intake process and a signed informed consent agreement.
3. Not a Crisis Service This website and the services provided by My Couch Online Therapy are not intended for emergency use. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger of harming yourself or others, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), 11-1, or go to the nearest emergency room.
4. Appointments and Cancellations Appointments, including the 15-minute introductory calls, are scheduled via our Wix Booking system. While I strive to maintain "Immediate Availability," all appointments are subject to confirmation. Clients are responsible for providing at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of full clinical sessions.
5. Payments and Fees Fees for services are disclosed during the introductory call or intake process. By booking a paid session, you agree to provide valid payment information through our secure Wix payment processor.
6. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Couch Online Therapy and Grant Koenig shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this website or reliance on any information provided herein. The information on this site is for educational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized clinical advice.
7. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
